how to love your candle
Everytime you burn your candle, let the wax pool at the top. This not only prevents tunnelling of the wax but gives you the biggest scent possible.
Each time you want to burn your candle, trim the wick to about 5mm. This will give you a cleaner and brighter burn. Trimming the wick keeps the flame in control. As we use cotton wicks, simply grab a tissue and pinch the top off or cut it to the right size. This creates an even burn all the way down the candle. Our attention to detail means that the wicks in our candles are the exact width to get the best burn width from the container, leaving very little wax to waste.
Try to burn you candle until there is a pool of wax on the top, otherwise you end up with what we call tunnelling. Creating a pool that fits all the way across the top of the candle keeps your candle flat, all the way down.
I know it would be fabulous to burn those yummy smells all day long but this is the worst thing to do to your candle. So, only burn for 2-3 hours at a time. This keeps the wick stable and stops it from mushrooming.
Keep your candle away from drafts.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children and pets.
With a little bit of love, comes long lasting joy
